Maputo Central Market

I enjoyed visiting the market, there are different parts that is fish market, fresh vegatables and fruit, spices and herbs with traditional medicine, arts and crafts and clothing. There you can see and buy the biggest selection of hair, synthetic as well as real human hair at different prices. I am not interested in that so I can\'t tell if the prices are good or not. A very different experience, and to experience the local foods and culture.

Parque Nacional Da Gorongosa

This park is pure, beautiful wildness. There are limited accomodation facilities, so the chances to run into another vehicle during game drive are slim. Despite that, after staying just 3 days, we have seen lions, elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, various antelopes etc. There are also hippos and leopards but we unfortunately missed those. The staff is very open and knowledgeable, and you really learn a lot from them. The park is also collaborating with the local, empoverished community, giving cca 20% of their proceeds to improvement of their condition via various projects. So, in visiting the park and paying for their services, one is providing funds for wellbeing of the animals, the improvement of the local community\'s living condition and even the reforestation of that area.

Bazaruto National Park

We took a daytrip to the Bazaruto island. The island was beautiful. The trip to and from the island with a boat called Sailaway was an accident asking to happen. Some of the safety jackets were in a very poor condition. Safety procedures were not discussed with the 25+ passengers. The tour guide was busy looking after the best interest of a group of drunk students (they started drinking rum at 9:00) - with whom he were discussing another outing the following day: thus ignoring the interest and safety of the rest of the passengers. The island itself is a MUST if you are in Inhambane - but please use another provider/bo

Dive Bazaruto

We truly appreciated the experience: a pleasant journey on the boat to the dive site, the two dives (grey reef sharks, rays, turtles, ...), the stop on bazaruto island and the warm welcome by the owners.

Tofo Scuba

We\'ve enjoyed 11 dives with Tofo Scuba. The dives are challenging due currents, waves, depth and distance from shore nonetheless the team is highly experienced and take safety very seriously. The dive masters try to show us the special species under water. Also in between the dives, they try to spot a whale shark for you ;-)
